Bronco Tyres .

(1/2) > >>

Axle:
Hi all .

Im not quite sure if this is the right place to send it  .

Has anyone had any experience of the bronco tyres the amazons in particular .

Acording to LR owners mag the amazons are meant to be very similar to the yokahoma geolanders . A friend of mine uses them for thick mud and general horse play over rocks etc. and he swears by them .

Upcoming Projects mean I probally wont be able to get the origanals . I am also looking at the colway retreads . And since alot of you use them could you please tell me what they are like.

Road noise isnt a big worry but  how hard are the tread in them.

Cheers

Rob   :)  :)  :)

I believe Bronco Amazons are actually Technics Amazons.
If you can find a Technics dealer you can get the Amazons for around £38 each. 235 70 16
They are directional. I've got them fitted to my Disco.
I can't praise them highly enough. When new they were very quiet on the road. After 12 months they are getting a bit battle scarred and making more than usual road noise but I can live with it.
On road braking isn't far behind an AT tyre. I've had them scream like a Banshee but never felt that I'd lost it. Purely while testing on an empty road.

I love them.
I wish they were made by BFG for the Qudos but they aren't.

No worries axle. I've not heard of anyone else using them though.
The extra side lugs are excellent in Mud.

I had a set of Bronco retread a few years back Goodyear Wrangler AT patten, they could not be balanced properly for road use.
