Where & what to do in Yorkshire?
xmob:
Yorkshire is a BIG county (biggest in the country, in fact), but if you're near me (Ryedale, North Yorkshire), you have:
Flamingo Land (Theme park and zoo)
Langdale Quest (www.langdalequest.co.uk - off road center)
North Yorkshire Moors (Great for scenery)
York (Something for everyone)
Scarborough (Typical seaside resort)
Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington nr York
North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway
Eden Camp (PoW camp turned WWII museum)
That's about all I can think of at the moment.
