No Reverse

Hi All,

Yesterday I lost reverse gear on my Disco 1. I was stuck on a Greenlane at the time.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be wrong? (All the forward gears are fine)

Thanks all

Mark

i would hazard a guess at the selector has had a grub screw fall out so isnt now shifting the fork? you may be able to see if you take the top off the box

I think you may be right. But it looks like I will have to get somewhere to do the work for me.

I am now thinking of getting a recon box and transfer box fitted, I am still having problems with the diff lock and now this. Ashcroft Transmissions seem to have a good deal for supply and fitting of these.

Does anyone have any other recommendations?

Regards

Mark
