Anyone who chucks their motor into a ford, or up some dirt track, at TOMTOM's bidding wants their head looking at.
Honestly, blaming the satnav is hardly gonna cure some fool who thinks his mondeo can swim......

beast5680:
yea but how dumb are these people to follow satnav blindly like that   i read in the press that listening to the satnav could lower your brain power as it reduces the need to think for your self

a tinsy bit of common sense is required with sat nav

i dont have one cos a 1.99 AA atlas does me fine and if im not sure then streetmap or multimap and a printer will help

its only useful if you do a lot of travelling to unknown places or are bloomin useless at directions!

There was a nice bit on C4 news last night where some guy in Freelander had be sent up a lane in S.Wales. The track decended a serries of 6-8" rock steps which he went down while blindly following his Sat Nav instructions. Well- at least he was in a 4x4 (sort of) I suppose. Wonder if he'll ever take it 'froadin again........

Unlikley, Very few Ford Freelander owners do.
