did any one read about the sat nav system sending cars through a deep ford and cars dying and a local garage is charging them £25 to pull them out

Indeed I did, saw it on the TV either last night, or this morning??

There's one in Wakefield that is a similar depth & adjacent to the main A61 between Wakefield & Barnsley.

I'm waiting for roadworks on the A61 at NewMillerDam, then I'll go & park down by the ford & wait with a tow-strap & my waders on :lol:

i made a few quid pulling cars up westeram hill kent in the snow after a brief storm a few years ago didnt charge but got plenty of donatins had a great time was 19 years old then had a good time at the pub that night to :D

Apparently the water "DEPTH" sign was fitted in the shallow part of the water :roll:

I met a bloke who did that ford in a VW syncro (came up to his windscreen) so i am gono have to drive it one day to keep the Land Rover end up :D
