im back from a meet . sorry for the delay in getting back to you :oops: . i ended up sat up all night and then drove 170 miles to the meet. set the tent ect up and had a few beers. didnt get to bed until after 1am on saturday morning. so i was a little bit tired :lol: ....they didnt come back after the third time. but now im home i am gonna sort something out. thinking along the lines of doing away with the old alarm system and put in a decent one.
thanks for the sudgestions, i will definatly be doing some of those for sure :wink: . i will have a think and let you know what i decided to do :D ....they aint havin my truck :wink:

Borders, weather or not you get a disc lock from your local nick will be down to the crime reduction officer for the area, the reason the 3 in Leeds sell them is down to 1 of the CRO's who has a special deal going with disclock, it's only one division of the police in leeds that sell them, not all west yorks,
i'll be driving upto Oban on the 28th of this month so could arrange to meet, drop one off depending where you are.
He also sells something called the Garage Guardian, a product designed to stop up and over doors being bent in half and forced open.
If people on here are interested in any other similar products that are available at reduced prices i'll post as and when they turn up, i currently work with the CRO as part of a burgulary reduction initative in Leeds so find out about bits and bobs like these that may help :D

Takes seconds to fit and is visible as hell. They've copied the idea of the one's used by the DVLA for tax evaders, but this is simpler to fit and just as secure. I have one of the DVLA type, thanks to Winchman, but I can't recall who makes it, it's £235 though :shock:
