4x4 bashing - have your say

<< < (5/7) > >>

Brian the Sn@il:
i bought a 4x4 simply because i could claim 40% TAX back :)

It doubles up as a Family Rec Vehicle and a great off road toy :)  Job Done :)

every one is entitled to what they drive, if peeps have money then they may go for a nice big Bimmer or Merc etc, not a 4x4 but still burns up fuel, if peeps really think that a few miles to the gallon makes a difference to the world they dont live in the real world.

Take a look at the USA they know how to burn fuel :) and i bet you all there arnt many moaners out there !!!

Dirty Gertie:
If you'd like to express an opinion on road safety instruction, bias & prejudice in schools, or anything else, to the head of the school this all-knowing history teacher works at; here's the e-mail addy: head@hardenhuish.wilts.sch.uk

discomummy:
Hi,

added my bit - seems i was kept on as i was the only one admitting to be a school-run mummy!

none of the anti 4wders bothered to congratulate me on school run sharing - which i have always done since the girls started school - believe me 5 x 6 year olds in the beastie is not fun!!!!

regards

ela

Lucy1978:
ok I'll buy a rangie and take the front prop shaft off and run it in difflock when in towns, instant 2wd rangie - IT'S STILL THE SAME DAMN CAR having 4wd makes no difference what so ever.

--- Quote from: "Dirty Gertie" ---Well, I've tried to register, but for some reason I can't validate my email addy; also, I'm feeling very inadequate, cos I've been driving my Landy for over 3 years now, and I STILL haven't grown a pen!s!! :(bigcry): :(bigcry):

BTW, I love the way D Smith changes their definition of 'evil 4x4' every time an owner challenges him/her!! :(biglaugh):
