Which would you rather break and why?

No idea! Going to have a go at replacing the swivels and seals this weekend so maybe, just maybe I might know a little bit more about the mysteries of the front turny bits when I've finished.

Well if you do a 1/2 shaft and its at the diff end you have to take the diff out. But you done have to if you do a cv joint.

CV's are the first thing you hope goes first,if you start stregthening things up more serious damage could result elsewhere.

personally id run 3 piece cv joints & machine the stubby so it breaks first,thus being a 5 min job to change (VV old rangie style )

if you run the 1 piece cv joints & it explodes its likely to lock the wheel up & mean u have to strip the hub & rebuild just to continue
