As a slight comment, the Stolly was the only British vehicle to carry the disignation 'High-mobility'.

And if you stall start 'em you can get all four front wheels off the deck. 8)

They have a great habbit of spitting flames out the exhuast when hot. That'll upset all the boy racers1 :twisted:

Has it got the full water propusion system as most had it removed be release to sales?

I heard they were removed after a squaddie got homesick one Christmas and drove home, from germany :o

That was mentioned on 'Salvage Squad', guess it's just an Army urban legend.
I hypothosise, it was more due to the end of the 'Cold War' & withdrawal from Germany.
With no rivers to cross & the extra (now un-neccessary) maintainance) they were removed

the swim kit was took off after the cold war due to maintain cost's. And i am not jealous not really not jealous not not atall jealous  No believe me i am not  no i dont really want one still not jealous. ................................................................................ Way I heard the story in germany, was that the daft sod got halfway over the channel and turned back due to lack of fuel, pity that the stolly he was  driving was a 'unit bulk refulling' vehicle with an 11,000 litre fuel tank fitted on the back.
life's to short to drive crap.
