Brake Pipe Fittings

Paul Woodward:
The unions will either be 3/8 UNF or M10x1.0 pitch, it depends on the year I think.
It's easy to get the two confused so make sure you get the right ones!!

:?   well the flexi was bought new about 4 months back and the t peace the same we recovered the old junctions off one side when we made the pipe but I dont want to do the same again

Im thinking of niping out with the brake pipe spanners and cracking the flexi and the T peace off but I dont think I can do that with a master cylinder as its still attached to the bulkhead.

From memory I think I told the guys at LR supermarket I was running 6 cyl brakes and they said that the rears should be the same as a 2 1/4 not that it helps now sod it for the cost I think ill just buy both and cover the bases I think its going to be the UNF ones but ill pick up one of the others while im there at least now I have a starting point.

Thanks for all the help guys

Mark roughly how much tube did you use im looking front to back on 109 and both sides on front and 1 on rear so im guessin im looking at about 10m with some left over

Oh the joys im going to have in the future lol.

My next project is possible going to be a 110 so mental note buy the braking system in one hit lol

If an M10 bolt screws into your fittings, they're metrc, if not, they're 3/8th
