Budgie:
Well that's another lesson there then Trev, NEVER SEND PAYMENT BY WESTERN UNION!!
No comeback if it all goes wrong.
Rocketman:
Thats another big scam going around at the moment,
you sell something on EBay, buyer says he has a cheque from his friend but it is made out for more than your sale price. He asks you if you would mind having the cheque for the larger amount and will you send him the differrence.
When you check western union it looks as though his cheque has cleared so you send him the goods and the balance. Then western union tell you that his cheque has bounced. Net result is he has your goods for free AND you have paid him to get them.
