Blast from the past................

I got Kerrang for years and years then stopped buying it in the mid / late 90's cos it went soft so i switched to metal Hammer which also went soft so i gave up.

Aye i have played the Black Album to so many people over the years.  It is one of the all time best, everybody likes it and those that say they don't are either in denial or havn't heard it yet!

Nah, LETS ROCK

And I remember siting in the Tour bus with Biff from Saxon behind the Odean in Brum after the Power & Glory tour.

I'm getting the hang of this Gibson on PS2, what a laugh !

Amen to RIP Tommy Vance, Thrasher i also DJ'd on a rock radio station, happened to be one Tommy Vance worked at around 1999.  Got to sit in on one of his shows, the man was just a walking rock trivia memory machine!

But kerrang isnt as good as it used to be, metal hammer is pants as well, nowadays i find myself attracted to Classic Rock magazine or Rock Sound.

Corporation in Sheffield is still a very good night inspite of a move of venues. Has 5 rooms so you can pretty much find what you want from poodle rock to Slayer(im in the latter room most often). They do a good mix, Anthrax played there on Sat night but Rollazuki couldnt sort tickets!DOH too late again.
Rock city in Notts is also a superb night!
Saw Metallica first on the MOP tour and their live set wasnt that good...seen them a couple of times since and they were awesome. Still think Slayer are far better live...and way way heavier.
Im quite fond of Justice though but Kill Em all's my fave

ive seen metalica twice, first was at MK bowl, with Megedeth who blow them away, metalica were very boring live, i was really disapointed in them, but Megedeth were awsome

i then saw Metalica at donnington in 95 i think, again very boring live set, they spent more time messing about than playing, best band that day was white zombie

as for best Metalica album, Master of Puppets, every time 8)
