please can someone send me some links to websites the have some diagrams for 2 1/4 petrol engines as i have a problem with the carb

Can you be a bit more specific,

which carb are you running (Solex, Zenith, Webber)?

What sort of problem?

aint got a clue what type of carb it is  its a 1973 series 3 2 1/4 petrol   ive cleaned the jets and it still wont let fuel into the sparky bit where it ignites

There is petrol getting to the carb?

Try manualy pumping the fuel through (little lever on the side of the fuel pump) take the big pipe off the top of the carb and get assistant to press accelarator pedal, you should get a spray of petrol down the middle of the carb if there is petrol present.

not something daft like a blocked fuel filter is it??
