timming belt

<< < (2/2)

spy:
I have no history of when mine was done either.  I think I might try and get it done before the weekend.  How much do you think I should expect to pay for someone to fit it?

I think the book gives 3.8 hours?  Is this realistic?  I know some local garages through work so will be ringing around for prices but dont know what to expect at all.

Cheers,

Mike

hobbit:
If all goes well, is the term, but as you know a sticky couple of bolts on the timing cover will kick this figure in the nuts, I've not done mine myself, I chickened out to the experts, but after being there and discussing it with them, I would probably do one myself next time.

Its a case of going for it and either it will be a case of that was easy, or it was a right swine

Make sure you have the right parts as well, inlcluding replacement idler pulley
