Does the the cable screw into the bracket, rear of the handle?As I think I broke mine when removing it.Is there a quick fix?

If it's a 200Tdi then yes it does screw into a bracket. As for a temporary fix see here

The bracket is part number NRC7984. (From the John Craddock website  Part Number : NRC7984 PLATE ABUTMENT HANDBRAKE 4 CYLINDER 90-110. £11.77)

Yep :-) A cheaper alternative is to make a replacement part yourself. A suitable sized piece of flat bar with an M16 x 1.5 nut welded to it would only cost about a £1 and take 15 mins to make.
