Mercades G wagons are second after 90's
« on: June 05, 2004, 22:11:04 »
What does everyone have against G wagons .I think they are  brilliant .The only reason I,d prefer a Defender is parts availability .Other than that they look nearly identical outside .And allthough I had never the pleasure of being inside one I am told that they look cracking inside .I know that the Russians modify them heavily for compition so why dont we . :?:  :?:  :?:  :?:

Is there anybody who owns or who knows someone that owns a G wagon  :?:  :?:

In a word, Cost. Bit's for them are mega bucks. Otherwise, top bus. Tank like engines and 'boxes and three diff locks. They've got it all.
Cheers, Karl..

Thanks Karloss . :D
I guess youre right .
But they really do go like the clappers .
I was overtook by one doing about 75 miles an hour [ish]
Im not an expert but Im thinkin ,you'd have to be really trying to get that out of a bog standerd defender .

But I suppose a Defender is not about on road performance
