PUX:
a friend i know has a champion winch 10000lb and i say its a really good winch slow put goes for eva he got a really good deal

Range Rover Blues:
£300 for a winch, you need a winch bumper too so I'd say your budget is a little low.

If all you do is lane I'd suggest a winching kit for your high-lift (£50) and spend the rest on strops and a KERR.

I got a really good deal on a Superwinch from David Bowyer that fits on my towbar, the attachment is only £60 odd, but you need some long wires.

Thing is I havn't used it yet, winching when you're laning really is the very last resort and if the lane is that bad, you shouldn't be there.

discomummy:
Hi,

muddy picture there RRB, wouldn't have been from the weekend would it?

We managed without your winch then - would not have liked to have to use it - too much mud!!!!

15 minutes of jetwash only got the mud off the bodywork - straps and underneath still coated with mud - i have been told that the carrots are ready under my car!

regards

ela

PS geoff still has not noticed anything funny about the back bumper

Skywalker:
