which winch?

I am looking to buy a Winch next few weeks and i want some advise on buying .

I do Lanes most weekends and and wanted some advise on what would suit this activity and price wise about £300 second hand or new any comments welcome or links.

I know Champion are doing winches for about £300 10000 Lbs pull

because they are a pain to use??? Buy the best you can, make sure you feel comfortable spending it though.

If all you do is lane i wouldn't think a winch is required at all.
