What a day ...but yah gotta laugh

I got accused of driving a gas guzzler twice today by kids at school. One of them was very amusing as he seemed proud that his dads car does 25mpg on the motorway. He wasnt amused when I pointed out that I get close to 30mpg around town  :P

Next was a 12 year old took a pop at me. Well he connected with my gut so I didnt feel anything. I like the lad so I was prepared to let it go as I was seperating a fight and he was in a red rage. Unfortunatly for him the incedent was spotted by 2 other members of staff so he will be looking for another school tomorrow.

The original fight would have got him excluded for a day or 2. Having a pop at a member of staff is a real no no especialy as he was under anger managment supervision.

I have been thumped twice in 12 months. The first time was a complete accident but as I took no action and, to be honest, didnt even notice the blow land on my cheek (another breaking up of a fight) my street cred with the kids went through the roof.

Unless you work for the NHS, then the management aren't really bothered about anyone belting you (unless it gets into the local papers)
