Team Building/Get-Together
Bush Tucker Man:
I'm a 'bit previous' with this, as it hasn't happened yet.
But, SWMBO has told me we are going to the company summer get-together at a hotel/corporate entertainment centre
I'm not too sure where it is, but she went to Chester for the (employees only) chr*s*mas 'do'
So, at a guess it'll be in the same area??
Now, as I understand it, we arrive on Saturday morning to 'lunch' (blimey, I hate that word  )
Then in the afternoon, all employees & spouses each have a 'credit' on the site doing a variety of offerings
The usual suspects;
4x4's (no idea what breed, or how difficult)
Clay-Pigeon Shooting
Archery
Quads
plus another couple that slip my mind :?
(JCB's would be nice :D )
Suit & tie dinner in the evening, breakfast on Sunday morning & leave after/before(?) Sunday dinner
I do know it's in early May & we've got to advise the organiser of our choices in advance.
Where we used to live an archery club utilised the field behind us for practice, so I might have a go at that?
Wonder if they've got Cross-Bows?
Going by TimMs responsesin this thread, he'll be offering to come & help.
Sorry Tim, I did suggest Bruntingthorpe (to no avail :( )
It'd be nice if it was at Conston Cold (on A65, near Skipton) as they've got the Yorkshire LR Experience franchise :D
Edit @ 09:01, Tuesday 21st
Forgot, Spas,body-treatments, facials, etc........... also on offer
Colin 009:
Clay-Pigeon Shooting, thats what I'd choose. :D
Bush Tucker Man:
Apparantly, we're going to Carden Park in Cheshire
TimM:
Yes, Joanne definatley needs to take me on as an assistant for a few days to qualify for the event.... but which one?
I used to do Archery and still have a couple of bows in the garage (a compound and a recurve for anyone who knows the differance).
Quads would be fun at the start, but 'probably' bore me to death after a while (and I'd get very very dirty).
Clay pigeon shooting, again been there done that.
It will have to be 4x4 driving, sounds an odd choice, but remember - your doing it in somebody elses vehicle
Where do i sign?
