flushed out heater matrix
from the inlet and outlet under the bonnet
and its now brilliant
i cant keep my hand infront of the grill as it is to hot on full
thanks for the advise
everyone should give it a go if they got poor heater
fixed and no money to pay out

after a longer ride the guage now sits at 1/3 so its much better with the new stat.

had to open a window!!

mine gets up to temp after about 3 miles
runs just under half on temp guage
