2.25D smoke on starting

When I fire her up, my 2.25 diesel smokes (whitish smoke) like a [!Expletive Deleted!] for about a minute or so. Am I right in suspecting worn valve seals?

Condensation? Would that be coolant getting somewhere it shouldn't be? Don't like the sound of that  :?

mine does that. apparently a fuel system specialist said its was my injectors not atomising the diesel properly so the when the engine is cold, it doesnt burn the diesel fully.
once its warm, its fine.

Then again its a 2.25... mine does the same, but only for about 5 seconds after firing..
