hey all

do all of these mods for the lada leave it road legal?
and how do they affect your insurance.
only asking as  i want to mod her but as i use her most days she gotta stay in the law!!!!

thinking of these mods

hoodoo lift with longer shocks.
at tyres on offset rims
some sort of bumper/bull bar mod.



ive already done me first mod................... fitted the cd player as she came with no ice and i needed something to drain the noise!!!!!!(need bigger speakers still

It is down to your insurer, all mods need to be on your insurance......

I'm with secure direct insurance with mine and it is based on your vehicle engine size.

The bloke there said it is covered for off roading and all would be covered as long as the vehicle was 'within it's capabilities', which means no winch action.

One can be fitted but wont be covered if using the winch.

if you fit wider tyres then dont forget to get spats to cover them..
