Clearing Cookies (Now Resolved Thanks)
« on: March 07, 2006, 11:16:50 »
My work PC this morning is screwing up my viewing of Mud-Club (how dare it!).

When I click onto view posts since last visit, it shows me everything since Sunday evening - but I was on here last night!

Also when I look at the main forum screen, the 'last post' in each forum is from Sunday - yet when I go into a forum then there are posts from today.

And a third problem I'm getting (much more annoying) is if I look at a thread I replied to yesterday (from home) then my PC here is not showing my reply    yet if I look in my recent posts in my profile I can see the reply I posted, and if I click onto it, it appears  :?

After having a search on other threads where people have had problems it sounds like I need to delete my cookies........ but how?

Can anyone explain this to me in idiot steps

Thanks for that, that's really obvious and I should have found it

But it hasn't helped

I come onto the forum (as a guest - no auto login) and can see all the latest posts, log in, and can still see all the latest posts, but when I click on the 'view posts since last visit', it brings me up old information again, then when I go back to the main forum screen again, it has changed back to saying the last post on each topic is Sunday 5th.

Anyone any other ideas? It's driving me mad

Very nice I'm sure, but that may as well be in Latin for what it means to me

BUT!

Some lowlife here at work has now admitted to using my computer yesterday while I was out..... and changed the date

One swift kicking later - everything is back to normal  :D
