because i have an LT95 box in it, its about twice as big as the series box so the engine has to go further forward, and that would hit the radiator, so i got the defender front to give a bit more clearence.

I like it mate. You spending alot of time on that motor. I also get my hands mucky and alot of ppl dont understand how hard it is. I just pulled a 3.3L perkins out of me 109 today and next weekend I got to pull out the 2.25L from the 88" then fit new gearbox and perkins into the 88".....
Its all time and effort. Will be well worth it in the end mate. Keep up the good work and I want to see it in the flesh when its done. It looks great.

Bit of a drive for me but I will come down to see it some day.

LT 95 . isn't that permanant 4WD ? So your using a Range rover or Landrover 90 front axle right ?

well kind of. bought my gearbox got it half fitted before i was told about the uj's :oops:
now iam after a stage1 v8 axle. :oops:
but it should be a nice strong gearbox for off roading though. :)
