Well it has begun indeed :( it means i will be giving me motability car back at the end of this contract and using the free RFL certificate for me disco :(

Does anyone know what the rough emmissions are for each engine?  I.e. each of the v8's, the mpi, 200tdi, 300tdi and td5?

Surely they can only put this extra tax on the new cars?  Because the system currently in use works off emissions rather than engine size (which is used for any cars before such-and-such a date)

The RAC should concerntrate on fixing vehicle rather than stirring up hype. Good job I'm not with them any more as it would be another excuse to dump them  :evil:

Is the tax going on emmissions, engine size or whether a vehicle has more than one drive axle?  :roll: If the chancellor singles out 4x4 drivers, calling them gas-guzzlers and leaves the drivers of luxury and sports cars (of which sales have also increase) then he is guilty of breaching discrimination policies  :evil:
