MOT - what to remember?

I find that appologising to Tim and Joanne in advance is a good plan, as is bringing a bottle of wine or two :D

Damonski:
Good luck with it! If the VOSA gang are looking you will be sure of a proper job being done ;)

One thing that can speed up mots nowadays, is to take your log book in, actually logging onto the mot system with the new computers is hell, a lot of the info that they ask for on there is in the log book, and saves a lot of  q & a's from the system about your car

Can make quite a difference for the tester

Yeeess.... unless, like today, the main computers in Swansea crashed...  which made getting certificates... interesting.

Budgie:
Got mine OK at lunchtime Tim, guess it must have gone down before or after I was in having it done.  :D

Dave, Don't forget things like horn, windscreen washers and condition of wipers, no cracks/chips in the windscreens, play in the steering (I know we're talking a 101 here but even so!   ) and fluid residue from areas of the brake system.

All the best with it, hope it goes a well as mine did today.  :D
