cheap steel wheels needed in a hurry

(1/3) > >>

denviks:
hi all. well after a weekends fun at bordon where i had 3 tyres let themselves down in one day. the beads seems to have let air past and mud in. i have spoken to bfgoodrich and they say my alloys might have gone pourus but i have just had them inspected again and they say that they are fine. so i am looking for 5 steel wheels in a hurry as i have the mac coming up soon. time to panic.....  the size tyres i have are 225/70/16 the wheels they are fitted to now are 7J /16

any advice welcomed  :D

Pike:
my bros rangy did that on alloys when he went offroad,he just put tubes in,problem solved!!!!!!,he was told that with all the bending and twisting of the tyre offroad it breaks the bead seal so I suppose it might do that with steel wheels aswell .....just a thought

denviks:
yup......i was thinking the same. been told i cant put tubes in these alloys as the valve aint long enough so now at a loss of what to do

Thrasher:
You could always buy my spares ;-)

They're for sale you know....

Pike:
thats strange you have the same alloys as me and I have tubes in mine
