cheap steel wheels needed in a hurry
Range Rover Blues:
Oh for crying out loud, you cannot use tubes in tubeless tyres, not onlu can they chaffe on the inside of the rim if it has any imperfections but the ribs on the inside of the tyre will cut through the tube. It's not safe and I'm not sure it's legal.. As we move ever closer to the litigeous society favoured by the yanks you must think of the consequences.
Pike:
Hmmm!!!!!! well I stand to be corrected.......but ive never had any problems in two years

Loads of us do though. You have little option with Landrover rims that require a tube. My bridgestones have no ribs i checked before fitting and so far are doing fine. A rostyle can do without a tube but it isnt right, my proper Landy rims needed tubes as they are tractor wheels.
Pike:
Well at least one northerner agrees with me then(it must be cos its cheaper to put tubes in than buy new rims!!!!(cos were all tight up north)
denviks:
i have been qouted £17 odd for each tube on mine. they say that they dont think they will fit either so its a royal pain as i keep popping rims. contacted bfg and they say its my alloys causing the problems which to be honest i cant see it. it only ever happens offroad.
i have the mac coming up in just over a week and i am starting to panic as its gonna be a nightmare having tyres popping off every 5 mins. :(
