the mot definition of a side light is a white light so no they are not legal
so all the boy racers with blue side lights are running illegaly and the police can take your car off the road if they are in a bad mood some ofthem carry spare bulbs cos of this but if you got yellow lenz then it wont pass mot

NO!

Headlights must be white, not too sure how it works for foreign registered trucks/cars with yellow headlamps (EEC exemption??)
