Unfortunately, the Listons will be shut on monday 13th Mar, and indeed subsequent Mondays until further notice.

SO..........

I propose moving it to either another venue

OR..........

to the Tuesday

I'd say another pub for 2 reasons .... better parking Listons car park is minu...... mino .....tiny. and After missing the 1st meet I came to by 24 hrs dont listons have a pub quiz on tuesday nights?

I propose the pub called the Moss Tavern on the new estate in Ashton. It is near the Motorway and easy accesss for most of us.

Lets do the meeting there and see where the best meeting place is for us all from there. It would be a shame to stop the ball rolling now as we are so close to starting something grand :)

8.30 at the Moss Tavern on co-ordinate SJ 928991. This may seem to appear in a patch of off-road land but it is because it on a newly developed area, it is fine.

Unfortunately I may not be able to attend as I am in London on Monday and may be staying over :(

So, Andy, can you please try and see where we can have a day out during March and keep me informed ;)

Should have finnished at 4pm but ended up *being* stuck at work

. Had to start a clutch swap on a coach as its back on the road Wednesday - thats why I didnt make it.

sorry didnt realise I was contractuly obbliged to show up, and after the couple of days I have had at work Jim tell it to someone that cares as sorry I dont. I thought this was supposed to be a fun get together between mates. Not some witch hunt because people didnt show up. Think I'd rather go over to the W yorks meets in future dont need this BS

Right then kiddies.....

Sometimes things go to plan, sometimes they dont. This month is one of those that didnt quite work out right due to various unforseen things.

It is not MANDATORY for ANYONE to turn up, only those who have something constructive to add to the meeting and those who have the time in their otherwise busy schedule. NOBODY needs to explain to the others why they cant come to them.......

There WILL be a meeting next month and it WILL be open to all who CAN attend. Those who have been before will have email contact for 3 months or so from their last visit to the meeting. Those that dont come to the meetings will be removed from my mailing list after this time as I reckon to turn up once in 3 months is not too much to be expected. They are of course quite welcome to come to subsequent meetings anyway, the door will aqlways be open (when we decide which door it is of course)

For one meeting to not work cannot be down to anyone individual (well maybe him upstairs!!! and I bet he's laughing his socks off right now). We all have 'other' things to do and give freely our time and effort to try and make this work.

and YES it is frustrating when you turn up and no one else does. But it shouldnt deter us from MAKING it work with POSITIVE attitude and not NEGATIVES. So far we have had some good days out and this WILL continue......... with the help of you all........

Chill guys its not the end of the world :roll: as robbie said its a bit of a cook up this month just the way it go's.my exsuse is i honestely did'nt think anybody was going lame exsuse i know but ive got a better one after speaking to andy last night at about 7 Oclock i got a phone call from the lad at the next unit to mine at work to say he was winching a car on the back of his recovery wagon and the hook on the winch came off and the car is now half way through the the wall of my unit and his so head over to work to find a nice whoping hole between the too units to make matters worse the wall had knocked one off the cupboards over with paint thinners in it

boy it was one hell of a mess and quite a few other thing in it as well so i was there for a few hours trying to clean that up thats my other exsuse :roll: we'll get it sorted for the next meeting.
so put your dummy,s back in and stop bitchin :roll: kiss and make up before robbie gets back :lol: :lol: :lol:
