Jim-Willy:
It is illegal to drive on tyres that aren't rated to or above your Vehicles top speed.  Also it would probably void your insurance.

They have to be hell on the road anyway

Thrasher:
I thought this ... and then I read this .....

"NOTE : Accessory fit off-road tyres (with a speed rating of Q or T) are subject to speed restrictions. Q-rated tyres should not be used at speeds greater than 100mph (160km/h), T-rated tyres should not be used at speeds greater than 118mph (190km/h)"

So...for my current RR I can run Q or T rated tyres (at the specified size and rating) apparently... even though it requires H rated normally!

Jim-Willy:
Yes, so i am right. for us normal folks anyway!

Mine wouldn't do 118 if ya dropped it outta a Hurcules

Range Rover Blues:
That's got me reaching for the owner's manual.  If the manufacturer says, it's legal :)
