Jake:
I'm planning on buying some parabolics and Pro Comp ES3000 shocks from Paddocks
Any one got a good reason why i should / should'nt?
The car is used for light off roading and i just want it to be more comfortable
(its the wife's car)
 :D

hello there! My  series 3 has pro comp shcoks on and 3 leaf parabolics on. It makes the ride alittle smoother and it also looks higher than my mates standard series 3 when parked next to it. Im told it also helps with off roading. I still got stuck though last time I was out. lol. I know they are not cheap but I would say worth it if you are going to keep her for a while and also want to save your spine from damage! lol

I got  a set of parabolics and a set of pro comp 9000 shocks from paddocks at a great price  :D
But if i ever fit paras to another landy i'll spend a bit more money and get the rocky mountin or cp paras.
Some times saving a few quid aint worth it

i have the parabolics from paddocks and they are great, much better than the old springs (but they were a little bit rusted solid)

i've also been in other series landies with more expensive paras and i really couldnt tell the difference. i did notice that they had better dampers, btu then i am still running the standard ones which arent up to the job really

Got that set up from paddocks on mine and i reckon its great, got a great lift, and amazing wheel articulation...... got the orange polybushes whilst i was at it, made a hell of a difference.
