Gearbox clunk??

:D its not that big job to do go to the pto cover on the transvere box and you can check there but it could also be the rear ball joint :D this gives a simmilar clunking noise :roll:  have you tryed putting into neutrall for a few split seconds befor engaging gear i do on my auto and this seems to prevent the clunking to a degree gives the box a chance to catch-up/slow down for the other components that are still turning
