It might be worth using rr axles elvis because then you won't be snapping half shafts on the series axle with that extra power, plus if you put coil springs on the ride will be much comfier.
ELVIS:
I have deeply thought about this and because of the engine i will change the gear box then with the axels I will be loosing to many points to keep my regisration and tax exemption
All that will be original will be chassis and bulkhead not sure on points then?
ian_s:
keep the leaf springs, dont change to coil and thats an extra 2 points
chassis is 5, and you need 8
i think the the steering counts for 2 as well, so as long as you dont go to power steering you'll be fine

--- Quote from: "Stanton Boy" ---I have done the range rover axle conversion, The rear axle is really simple, all you have to do is to make up some spring platforms or swap them off of your old axle. The front is altogether a differant kettle fish and there are many differant ways in which to go about it. The problem is that the rear steering linkage on the range rover axle lines up perfectly with the leaf springs. If you want to go down this route then i will give you all of the details of what you wil need to do.
