Range rover axels or disc brake conversion kit ?

wrong angle but the chassis & axles are rrc, even with 7.50's on they only just come in the flares

These are 265/75x16s they stuck right out (fail mot and attract any police following you with nothing better to do), the other pic on 7.50's

Even on thins, you need a substantial flare to do the job,

The rangi axles are 4" wider than the series for a start. As i said before the rear is really easy, all you have to do is to cut the spring platforms off of your old axles and weld them back on to the rangi axle (after you have cut off all the rangi brakets and measured from the discs to the spring mountings that is).

The front, There are several ways in which to tackle this if you want to keep your leafs.

1. You can get a left hand drive swivel housing so that you can put the steering drag link on the front of the axle and use rose joints, (Expensive)
2. You can make some 5mm - 10mm spacers that go between the springs and the axles which will give you almost the correct diff angle as a rangi axle sits 10 degrees nose up, (But will lower the front end so you have to do some work to lift the front back up).
3. You can cut the drag link and make an odd shaped item to go around the diff and the leaf springs. (Dangerous)
4. You can have some special shackles made that kink the diff backwards in order to bring the caster angle back. (Works but is a compramise).

Personnally i have seen them all and they all work, i used a combination of 2 of them, which are the shackles and the spacers, as 1 if you go for the rose jointed option it no longer becomes a cheap conversion and you may as well buy the disc conversion kit, or 2 if you cut the drag link, it could snap, bend or jam up and i use my series on the motorway and i don't feel that my safety and that of any body else should rest on my welding abilities and remanufactured steering components.
