selling up and getting a car!

you may have seen this:

and yep, i`m looking to sell the pickup, and get something i`m less likely to spend money on :(
this is due to me n bex moving up north and getting a house (morgage and modding a truck aint gunna work!) also even tho its as reliable as a smack head on giro day, it takes up a lot of room, a lot of the houses in our budget arent blessed with much space. garages for example - not enough headroom..
so its time to sell up! :(
i`m looking at a few cars:
scooby sport (not turbo) estate, cheap to buy, not bad on insurance..
rover 220 turbo derv - used to have one, great cars, quick, cheap to run, insurance very cheap, and there for pennies!
306 dturbo - the old faithful, hard to find a good un, but again, cheap, reliable etc
mitsi galant - 2.0 sport, VR4 kit, gorgeous, not as insurance friendly, or cost friendly, but a bit nice! v6`s also available, SWMBO will like it, but i`ll have to tell her its a 1.1 and cheap to run!
vectra 2.0 DTI - not many about, but a few, comfy, cheap, reliable.. not bad on insurance.
opinions and suggestions please!

Audi Quattro Coupe S2 2.8 V6
Best of both worlds as she'll handle being offroad on a mud/grass rally track track. Fuel consumption isnt insane, still a decent familly car and will eat all but possibly the Galant. Insurance isnt high either as they are seem more as collector/enthusiast cars.
Full RS2 if you want go go mad. Insane cars but bloody good family cars too. Again, sensible insurance, if you can find one :)
Or One of the 8 Pre RS2's (If you can find one, we know where 7 are now so theres one out there someplace)

How can we pick from that list of rubbish Ja. Bad news indeed.

sounds very tempting, but its the finding one, and a good one, plus insurance.. dont think the v6 galant is that feasable really, plus SWMBO will want to be insured on it when she finally passes her test (last one was cancelled  )

DON'T DO IT!
You can survive without a garage, you just get a little colder when fixing things.
(or you get a lot colder which makes you fix things faster!)
