Handbrake question

Just done mine today in the cold and the rain  :shock:
Was exhibiting exactly the same simptoms
All apart and all back together again with plenty copper grease
Fiddly little mechanism but it works when you think about it  ;)

I got so hacked off with stripping mine that I looked for something different... had all sorts of ideas but in the end found www.x-eng.co.uk who make a hand brake disc conversion.  I moddified the kit to fit a disco and if you look at the site that's my disco on there :)  Now the x-brake is fitted to my 90... good bit of kit and it works... very well.
