coz i got fed up of my back door sqeaking like a demented mouse , thought id clad it.
so this is what i did today!!
typical back door

my secret weapon!!

and the sort of finished door

inbetween the door and the ply is the best part of a large can of expanding foam!!! should insulate it and quieten it down..
And the Widow in all her glory.. :wink:

Thats a good idea.  I was toying with putting chequer plating over my rear door, but the holes from where a spare wheel carrier had been on the door are useful to know how far I can reverse back, so that might wait!  I like the foam.  I need some sound proofing, but further forward.

just done the drivers door as well, passenger door has a large piece of carpet attatched to it - by the previous owner not me!!, will see on monday morning how much quieter/warmer it is ;)

You don't want to wash her, she looks great!  I've fitted 90 doors to mine, decreases the leg space, but has got the door linings and wind down windows which I do like.

ran to work at 5am today....BOOO
and b***** me its really improved the interior, can actually hear the gearbox whine now :lol:
