I know Datalas makes this point frequently but I also own a 4x4 that has compareable/worse fuel consumption, weighs almost as much as the Rangie, has a somewhat worse saftey record and yet Never seen anyone protesting outside an Audi Garage?

Just to name a few worse than the Rangie : Audi A8 W12 6.2l. WV Pheaton, ANY larger BMW, Most Jags.

Oh I notice how according to her cars dont produce anyhting other than CO and CO2 :) No Nitorgen oxides or particulates, god deisel must be wonderful stuff :)

Shoulda taken her offroad :)

So why can't the greenies go and campaign outside a concrete plant as they produce huge amounts of Co2 and what eles produces lots of harmfull emmisions? Building Air-conditioning units.

I had this talk with a friend last nite whilst on the way to the pub and she asked why does me and my mate drive a Landy and not something more environmentally friendly. and so..
My main point is this!
To make and produce 1 avaerage vehicle even before it turns a wheel, The production will cause a few tons or Co2 to be produced. So I then asked what cars her family has owned in the same life time as my landy? She has Saxo now so that is X amount of pollution caused,
Then there is the Volvo so another amount added.
Then there is the 3 Vauxhalls owned.
Soo that is 5 times X amount of pollution. and that was only accounting for all the cars she can remeber in an approx 15 years. Already there has been four times amount or pollution caused in comparrison to the one amount caused to make mine. Now who is the environmentally unfrindly one? and we don't know how many cars her parents have owned before she was born.
It really annoys to find some blinkerd bigoted person who has all their facts wrong, trying to make out that they are right and i'm the Heathen who should burn in the fires of hades.
