200tdi headlights

What is the best way to improve the headlights on a 200tdi.

Just got back and realised just how naff they really are, stopped once just to make sure they were actually working.

replace the wiring with a switched feed straight off the battery (using a relay)

makes an unbelievable difference.

and don't just put uprated lamps in it without doing something with the wiring, you *will* melt the switch and have to replace the stalks...

Agreed, did this to mine and use 100w bulbs, makes a big difference :wink:

will get a couple of relays tomorrow, and try that, certainly can not be any owrse.

you could go for some of these




they are availible from an online comapny but they are quite exspensive. £220.

the company i got them from wasnt that relaible either. there might be another company that do them. they are crystal head lights with led side llights and they are very bright
