Leaf springs help!!
« on: February 06, 2006, 18:01:21 »
Hello every one.

Ive broke a leaf spring on my 80" trialer, she is a bitsa fitted with 2A axles and i was told when i bought it the springs where of a Lightwieght with a leaf removed.

Can anyone comfirm that they are lightweight or series (is there a difference?) before i order one.

Also any recomendations of where to get one, either new or used?

Thanks, Mark.
Mark

looks like a std LW front with 5 leafs, thought LW rear has 7 so would need two removing ! didn't say if front or back

think new about £35 ish from normal suppliers **docks etc.

Thanx for help :D , it is off the front.

Took it into Vass's at Amphill today, and they found one the same, the bloke wasnt sure what it was for, but its the same as mine and it has a landrover part no. on it so will easier if i need another.

Off out in a bit to fit it!
