Hello people
Question for you , want to fit a 350 chevy to my 1988 110 but cannot decide on gearbox . As I see  it I have three choices a)zf auto b) santana or c) 700r4 ,I know I can make them all fit . Engine will be 300-350 HP an
nd similar torque. Cant  see the wood for the trees

Torqueflight 3 speed from an early Range Rover isn't a bad option.   I'd be a bit worried about running that much power/torque through a ZF box.

i have forsale a 3 speed torqeflite with a shuler Tbox with a 1.1 ratio for sale,AFAIK the Tbox is ment to be uberstrong

 Thanks for the info , I shall try the adapter company and see if they do a plate for the 3 speed . Keep you posted

Hello Again
Update on gearbox issue . Adapter plate company only does 4&5 speed gearboxes ,so have rethought problem. Been in contact with a mate who has run a 8litre chevy of road racer through a 4 speed manual and had a 7.4 can am motor through a santana on a road going 110. He says a santana will take a 350 horse v8 but suggests I swap the front axle for a late 110 one . Whilst I trust his info , I would appreciate any opinions any of the drive train issues

on this convo does anyone have the standard transfer box that was on the back of a 3speed auto, i need it for my roadgoin rr, what i have heard is that it has the highest high ratio, other than yours mikee!!!
