Aaaaargh dilemma......

(1/2) > >>

sulley:
Right I've currently got a 200Tdi Disco.

Just waiting for some wedge to come through from the sale of my motorbike and wondering what to do with me Disco.

Three Options as I see it.

1) Upgrade suspension all round on current motor (Lift and polybush)

2) Part Ex for a 300TDi.

3) Get a Defender 90!!!!

Really toying with the idea of a 90.  But me Dad, being the sensible old fella reckons I'll hate it as it's not as comfy etc as a Disco.

So what do you experts reckon??

Cheers

Steve.

suggs:
depends what you want it for, off roading chucking dogs in the back, working out off, go for the defender, nice big cozy family car . going on holiday in, long distance driving, go for the Disco.....

H:
combine 3 with 1 get a 90 lift and polybush it

Jim-Willy:
Well i guess the question is what sort of nick is yiour Disco in?  No point getting another Disco if yours is sound.  The 90 is another issue totally, drive one though beacause they are a tad rough and to be honest if ya put a pair of wellies and a bucket in the back they are full.

90'S DO ROCK THOUGH, ID YA DON'T NEED / CARE ABOUT PRACTICALITY

Range Rover Blues:
We were looking at another car recently for Julie to go to work in, she wanted a 90 as they are pretty much the biz off road.

When you look at how far your money goes though, oh dear.  A dodgy "1960 Defender 3.9 Auto", hmm think not, possibly made of all the stolen parts he hadn't managed to fence.

Ended up with a nice 300TDi for less wedge, which means I can tool the blue one up a little more now :D
