does anyone know of a way to get an old camcorder to go onto the computer to reord to discs, vis a cable i would asume?!?!

yes or you could get the capture card from pinnacle

mate in work has it and it converts it from analogue to digital for you.

will ask him tomorrow for the model but i think its called moviebox.

I use ULEAD
Its easy to use, can cope with a couple of video tracks, a soundtrack and a commentary, has nice fades, etc
Titles are a bit awkward(that may just be me), but overall its a good un.


Warning. When you eventually process the finished movie and process it and send to DVD, it takes ages. Maybe 2 hours to process for a 15 minute film. (thats a pentium 4 Compaq)  Either get a fancy computer, or just be patient and wait for it to do its thing....
