Hi, does anyone know if the 300tdi dashboard will go in a 200tdi, mines looking a little past its best.

You'll have a lot of rewiring for switches, columns, relays, heater controls etc to do as a behind the scenes sort of reminder ;)

No idea if it will fit, I know the two are that different :)

I have that to do anyway, the last owner has made a right hash of it, wires hanging here there and every where, most joints made with duck tape

It will fit in the gap.
The measure ments between the 2 models are identical.
But, You'd need to change every thing behind the dash.
I believe you'd have to change the dash loom too(?).
Its quite a big job. But its do-able.

I think there'd be an issue with the speedo also.  Pre 94, the speedo was mechanically driven, post 94 it's electronic.  I don't know how easy it's going to be to modify an early vehicle to drive an electronic speedo.

I think you will also have to change the heater and all the ducts as well as the centre console.

I would think its a pretty major job and although they may look nicer I doubt you would gain enough the warrant the amount of work.

all you would have to do is swap the drive in the Tbox for the correct type
