CB into disco 1

well have partialy fitted the CB in the map pocket above drivers side but need some advice.
Where do I need to be connecting it in to electrics  :?:
Want a feed that will be live even when ignition is off so can be used when parked up
any info greatly welcomed

I ran a new cable behind the trim upto the map pocket and picked a permanant live from the fusebox.

On me 300tdi i ran it through the hole in the bulkhead where the rest of the wires came from direct to the battery! lol, wont do it this time though!

you'll have to run a cable down to the fuse box (a pair) or directly to the battery for a suitable feed. you should fit an inline fuse (if not already part of the cb).

You cant use the interia light feed as the earth is in door switch/elsewhere.

ps: make sure the cb is very secure as going over a big bump, could cause another bigger bump....... :(bigshock):

i just scotch locked mine to the interior light feed  :shock:
