j99mud:
--- Quote from: "TONY78" ---We got the same parcel delivery note, the number to call was £1.50 a min.
Needless to say we didn't bother

We had exactly the same saying they were delivering a camcorder and as coincidence would have it i had put mine in for repair i didnt phone them but it was so convincing all fracked with royal mail so we contacted trading standards and they were very iterested and asked us to send them the letter they are now investigating the matter
old joe:

--- End quote ---
Did you get any details of the comapny?
If so I would report them to OFFCOM as they take a very dim view about this sort of thing
Hangover:
--- Quote from: "V8MoneyPit" ---On a similar note, we get the same phone call every January and it usually happens several times during January. Someone calls saying "Back in November you kindly agreed to donate to our charity in aid of 'whatever'
--- End quote ---
Did you know that some of these are calls from people who sell advertising in magazines which are said to be for the fire service charity etc, they take the money and give a small percentage to the charity and in return you get an advert in some obscure publication. They mostly call using hidden numbers so i ask them why they have done this and they either hang up or get quite rattled by this,i have been sworn at in the past.
Kev
V8MoneyPit:
That's the one Kev! Every January, without fail....
