Alternatively have a look at Darren Burgess's site (go to; 'Technical' & then; 'Mud-Flaps' for a very logical suggestion

Im going to borrow his angle Grinder and sort the little tinkers that way.

i did the same just drilled out the old ones and bought new bolts :)

mind u it did take me a few months between swearing fits at it
