Disco shocks

(1/3) > >>

Jimbo:
The Disco is needing a 60k service, and just lately Ive noticed that it's 'bouncing' a tad more than normal after traversing a speed bump, or pothole - assume that the shocks are past their best ?. Had a quick look, no sign of leaks, but is it worth getting them done whilst it's being serviced (not at a main dealer I might add !)

Do I go for OME, Procomps, Bilstein or stick with LR bits ? - I don't want to lift it, or go extreme, just need something to flatten out the lumpy bits

Colin 009:
If your happy with the way it used to ride just stick with L/R bits.

I had standard shocks replaced with De-carbons (gas) and the rides a little bit rougher now. Still on standard springs.

Xtremeteam:
the front shock bottom bushes are probably knacked so id consider changing them first & its a press out job to remove them

landyman Ash:
The OME shocks and springs made my 90/hybrid a totally different truck, much better on road and off road.

When my disco shocks and springs go, I'll be investing in OME without a doubt
